Braised Short Ribs

1 Pkg Prairie Companion Company Short Ribs (3-4 Lbs of Short Ribs)

2 tablespoons Ground Coriander

2 Table Spoons Smoked Paprika

2 Table Spoons Sand Seasoning

1 Cup ACV

3 Cups Water

1/2 Large Purple Onion cubed

4 Garlic Cloves cubed

Cast iron dutch oven (this works best for us) or oven safe roasting pan

Pour some Avocado oil or olive oil in your pan and heat your pan to medium hot. Sear all ribs on all sides once the pan is hot enough. Remove from heat. Set aside.

The oil and the sauce from the pan is left and used to saute your garlic and onion, saute until translucent, do not over saute. Pour in ACV and water and spices. Mix to combine.

Let the spices mixture come to a simmer. Once it starts boiling, stick the ribs inside and put the lid on and stick in the oven at 350 Fahrenheit for 2 Hours.

Cook until the fat and meat is coming off the bone easily. You may need to cook for an additional 30 minutes.

Let cool and enjoy your prairie ribs.
